This is exactly what I wanted! I set it up on top of the fish tank, and it's easy to use. I lost the instructions, but I managed to figure out how to set it up. It has a 24-hour timer setting with three timers a day, allowing up to three feedings on each timer, all with specific intervals of 0 days, 1 day, and 2 days. It's very cool, and it meets all my expectations!

Does the job, but one of my fish randomly died a couple days after installing the feeder. I had had him for 4 years and he survived 3 different apartments and two different cities. He was a trooper. Not sure what went wrong with the feeder as it was technically doing its job feeding every “48 hours” as I had it set. Nothing out of the ordinary regarding a feeding schedule for my fish except for the fact that the food is coming from the feeder.

Bought this for my daughter's fish when we are out of town or she isn't home. Was easy to set up and works great! Love that if the power goes out it still will run until the battery runs out. We have put flake food and the pebble food in. The pebble food comes out better and can be distributed to them easier than the flake food. The opening for where the food drops out has to be opened more for flake food but where some flake pieces can be smaller you have a hard time getting a perfect medium fed to them (either too much or too little).

The Petbank Automatic Fish Feeder works well and reliably feeds the fish on a set schedule. However, it can be a bit tricky to adjust the size of the opening to control how much food is dispensed. Also, there is no indicator to show when the food ran out, so you have to check manually. Overall, it is a useful device but could be improved in ease of use.
