Bottle was not appropriately described by seller. The shape of the bottle nipple does not resemble a mommy’s nipple at all. It’s actually very hard plastic. The bottle is silicone with nice color to represent black breastfeeding mamas, but do not recommend it to be used when transitioning from nursing to bottle feeding.

I’ve been using the 5oz bottles since September. For the most party they are okay. I’ve been having some issues with the nipples. Over time the holes in the nipples widen or split open more. The instructions say to purchase new nipples every 3 months and that is what I’m having trouble with. There is no way to purchase only nipples through Amazon so I went to the actual website. Unfortunately, you can’t purchase anything through their website. I sent them an email at business@heorshe.com in regards to having trouble purchasing anything, but specifically nipples outside of Amazon. Amazon does not sell nipples on its own. You would have to purchase the 5 ounce bottle all over again. My baby no longer needs 5 ounces bottles. I don’t wanna waste purchasing the entire bottle just for the nipple. He is now on 6 ounce bottles but he’s not six months in order to use the 6 ounce nipple provided with that particular bottle. I sent an email January 3 and still have yet to hear back from anybody.

This bottle is a really great option for those who have littles that are very resistant to taking a bottle or just simply to help transition from breast to bottle. I like that the entire bottle is silicone and squishy. It is wide mouthed allowing you to clean it easily as well as make it easier when pouring milk or formula in. The nipple has proper flow to the designated option. I feel the 8oz bottle is a little on the heavier side for younger babies to effectively hold themselves but honestly I do think that by the time your little is taking the higher amount, they should be closer to handling the bottle themselves. I would imagine the smaller bottle would be perfect for younger babies. I do feel this bottle is good for anti colic but you do have to be careful not to squeeze air into their mouth. I do think this bottle is on the costly side but it has a lot of pros and would be worth the investment. Would recommend.
