Quite firm, although its nice to not sink to the floor, its still not a great night's sleep. The hinges are just cloth so you wouldn't want to put this up and down on a daily basis, I think it would fray and break quickly.

Its dimensions are like standard single mattress. Foam is firm to sit on and sleep with comfort. It’s easy to carry from one room to another because of its trifold feature. It came rolled in a cardboard box my four-year-old instantly converted into a rocket and has since coloured in with felt-tips.The mattress offers two moods. The gel-infused memory-foam side is soft and cool, perfect after my night shifts. Flip it over, and the bamboo-charcoal layer firms up enough to keep my husband’s dodgy back from complaining. The zip-off cover has already survived two Labrador-related mud disasters in the wash without shrinking or fraying. Non-slip dots underneath stop the mattress skating across the laminate, though the cloth hinges linking the three panels look delicate; I doubt they would relish daily folding. Also, the foam stiffens when the heating is off, so give it a minute to warm through before you judge.Even so, comfort, portability and easy cleaning beat the usual faff of an air bed. Factor in a 100-night trial and it easily justifies its cupboard space.
