Q: What are the dimensions of this item?

Pretty close to the stated size of 70 x 104 inches. It is suggested to wash cold and dry warm but I would bet they would shrink a little. Better yet, ask the seller, they answer email quickly. Good luck.

Q: Is this colorfast? If I use it as a living room throw, will it stain my beige upholstery?

i used mine as bedspreads and never noticed any discolorations on the linens. They do fade, but i would be surprised if that created an issue on the upholstery. I was very happy with the look--i got the blue and it felt calming.

Q: Is this super thin and actually that’s what I prefer just like an old hippie one I once had?

This is the second bedspread that I bought with the same design. The one That I bought 5 years ago was exactly like the old hope ones. The one that I bought a year ago is thin but stiff and much brighter.

Q: Shams to match the "Marubhumi" Kantha quilt/bedspread?

Only the bedspread was offered. No shams as far as i am aware.
