This bed is absolutely amazing! I got it for my small dog who loves to sleep in her big brother’s bed all the time (for reference she’s a chihuahua and he’s a bigger mix that we don’t exactly know). If you have a smaller dog I definitely recommend this bed because its very comfortable for the dog and allows them to move around if needed. As for safety, the canopy over the bed is held up by a plastic piece that slides in and out and can be folded down quickly if needed. It doesn’t collapse on itself and is very sturdy if the dog is just relaxing so overall it is very safe! The bed itself is not washable but the cover can be removed and thrown into the wash without any issues. I believe that the bed is extremely worth it for the money; we’ve had several other beds of this style and this seems to be the one our dog likes the most! Highly recommended!

dog liked it but velcro cover that holds the plastic tube to support top is not strong enough. the 3# pup was able to get the tube out and chewed it up. no manner of closing will stay shut. this needs to be a better closure. the pup likes to drag it and lay on it. he liked the cave feature until it quit functioning

Our dog LOVES this. Always loved being under the covers in our bed and my husband got sick of it so I got this and the dog has never been in our bed again! He does have trouble getting under the cover. I usually have to hold it up for him to get in but it’s very comfortable snd soft and warm. Worth every penny

The padding for the bed is very thin. It doesn't seem like it will last for very long considering how thin the fabric is. The fabric on the inside is thicker and rather soft, considering the external fabric quality. Value for money is alright considering the price, but I do think you can find something a bit better for roughly the same price.

I was excited to order from Furhaven again since I purchased a dog bed from them in 2021 and it has lasted all these years. However, my new dog bed is so horrible, that I have no choice but to return it. On my old one, the quality of the material was amazing (thicker and more durable even when washing) and the padding in the dog bed full and was cozy for my dogs. However on the new one, the material felt thin and cheap, the zipper was barely staying closed, and the pad insert was the thinnest foam padding (not to mention it wasn’t even the right size). I included pictures of my original one (the chockate color) and the new one (the gray color) to show just how flat and sad the new one is. I am highly disappointed in the quality and don’t think I’ll be ordering from them again. I would suggest just saving your money and investing in one from Snoozer or any other brand.

My dog adores this bed. It's super soft material inside and out, it's very thick too! It's a pretty colored brown with a nice cream on the inside. My pup can't quite figure out how to get under the cover part, even when the tent pole thing is in the front, unless of course she's playing on it, then she gets inside no problem, and freaks out and flips it on top of herself trying to eject from it. But that's not the bed's fault. It's beautifully made and doesn't feel like cheap dog bed at all. Hecat loves to snuggle on it while I'm sitting at my desk of vanity. She's a out 65 pounds and the size I got is perfect for her. We are both very pleased with this dog bed.

Bed is awesome, she immediately climbed. Have a second bed coming. If your fur baby pulls the plastic tubing out and chews it into pieces 1/2" pex (water pipe) works great as a replacement.
