Fairly thick stainless steel and pretty sturdy but mine arrived with few dents making the top openings a bit oblong rather than round. Buyer beware... it’s really my fault for not reading the description better but I mistakenly thought this was for four same sized canisters. The perspective photo is a bit deceptive and makes them look the same/closer in size than they really are. On the up side, since I bought these to make twig burning camp stoves, it gives me more sizes to experiment with. They are approximately 3-7/8”, 3-1/2”, 3”, & 2-3/4” outside diameter. No visible welded seams (a plus in my book). They appear to be stamped from a single sheet of metal with a rolled in top edge, making the inside diameter marginally smaller. The second biggest canister has the bottom holes punched off center and the four dimples for its “legs” are too close to the center (off-center actually) plus it’s punched with the same small spacing as the next size smaller so it’s not as stable as the others.
