Pencil have a great appearance
I enjoyed these pencils, particularly because of the color. Easy to see and not distracting. The pencil sharpener is okay, you can't fight with it and treat it like a regular pencil sharpener, I just went back and forth on one edge or side of the pencil, once that was down a good ways I started in on the other side, then you can turn your pencil more like using a regular sharpener, but dont force it too hard. Takes a while but beats a utility knife.

Good quality pencils. Great sharpener.
The sharpener on these pencils is worth the purchase price alone. Lets you get a good chisel point on the carpenter's pencils with minimal effort. The pencils themselves are also consistent quality.

Buy consumables in bulk.
Whenever I needed a pencil, I never had one. So I bought them in bulk and so far, I haven't needed them. But they are handy for when I eventually will need them.

Inferior. Not made in USA
Thought I was buying US made pencils as the chinese made carpenters pencils that I bought recently constantly broke as I tried to sharpen them. Disappointed to find that these "Hanson" pencils are not made in the USA like ones I have bought in the past but are the same inferior chinese made variety. The enclosed sharpener is also pretty useless as it is difficult to use and often breaks the lead in the process of sharpening. I don't recommend theses . . . .

Good workshop pencils
I am always looking for a pencil in the garage/Worksop, to mark something or make a note. These looked the business and good prove too. Best thing being flat they don't roll away. Also good that it has a sharpener with them.

Great pencils
Pencils are great quality. Not your run off the mill ones that the lead breaks all the time. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the sharpener was missing
