Bough to replace old model and works just as good.

Used by my husband whilst having a time of various styles for his beard. So he used it for a variety of stages. Firstly for just tidying his facial hair and getting it into a shape he then wanted to grow it more into. Then after a few weeks then used the styling tool but on a different setting for a trim around certain areas. Washable under the tap so not so bad to keep clean. Also is able to do body hair too so a good item that’s dual purpose which to my mind I think is always better. The main thing is the battery life it doesn’t seem to keep as long as ones did a couple of years back. Charging is easy and you can see quite clearly as it lights up so you can’t accidentally turn it off. Yes have to admit very nearly did that which would not have gone down too well. But noticed the light and thought yes charging so I will have to use another plug. With it having the stand that all the bits go onto it makes it a tidier piece for keeping in the bathroom. No storage bag but not an issue. The cut is clear and sharp but priced ok.

Arrived fast, but charger did not work (luckily i had a spare).... a month later and upon going to use the trimmer, it does not work, only got it to work by having it plugged in (which defeats the point of it having a battery to charge) therefore the battery does not hold any form of power. waste of money.

I’ve owned a BaByliss shaver for a long time, it never went wrong, I just decided to upgrade to a newer model. The new one had a completely different look, really nice design, but equally as good performance, if not better! The actual face shaver is small, so I wouldn’t imagine it would be right for a complete face shave, more for styling/trimming!

Don't over spend as this little kit does it all very good value

Great little kit

I used to have one of the older 7056CU models (sadly no longer available). I always got on well with the old model, so when it stopped working after about 3.5 years, I decided to buy another Babyliss. I chose this model despite the mixed reviews, as it looked to have similar, if not more, features than the old model.It is nowhere near as effective!The foil shaver is virtually useless.The beard/comb type trimmer is just OK, but leaves a lot of uneven length hairs.The 0.5mm trimmer actually does work well.The nose/ear trimmer is the same head as the old type and that's OK.Due to the new shape, it doesn't stand up on its end with any stability or safety.The charging LED comes on when you switch on the mains and stays on all the time, giving no indication of whether or not it is fully charged. The old one used to flash while charging and stay on once fully charged, a helpful feature.I am going to have to find something else. I can't return this one as there is nothing electro-mechanically wrong with it and I have used it a few times to try and get used to it.It's hard to believe they could get it so wrong after a previously good model (actually two good previous models because I had another one before the last one).It doesn't say much for their design and testing departments.
