I purchase other Vital Essentials products for my cats, and I thought I'd mix things up a bit by getting something that's not some kind of fish flavor. One of my cats is just incredibly picky, so the fact that he didn't like these is not something I'm surprised by, and not something I'd hold against this product. The others who are not as picky were "take it or leave it" about these treats, though. Still, this might be because everything else they eat is fish, shrimp or crab. I don't know. But I do know that this is a very high quality product. Just like all the other Vital Essentials treats I buy, I feel good about feeding my cats this. The size is just right for a good size cat treat, too. I break it in half for the smaller ones. So, even though the cats don't LOVE these treats, I'm still giving it 5 stars.

This is not as well appreciated by pickier cats; less picky ones definitely enjoy, and it takes them a while to chew on and enjoy these treats. They definitely have a noticable smell upon opening the bag, though. Decently sized, so even the quickest snack eaters have had to slow down to enjoy. Most tend to eat half and return later for more. Not too hard, and not too soft - good enough to not worry about choking, but soft enough you can squish it between your fingers.

My cats and dog loved these treat! So much they ripped a whole in the bad to help themselves. The bag is really big and will last a long time. We use the as a reward and also as a food topper.

All five of my cats absolutely love this duck freeze-dried soft nibs cat food/mixer! They can't get to their dishes fast enough. I have one cat that I rescued who prefers dry food. At mealtime the wet food is served first, then they each get a bit of dry food. This cat actually waits for the dry food to be served before he will even touch his wet food. These nibs are amazing. I crumbled one of top of his wet food as a meal topper and he gobbled it down. We haven't tried this product before, but now I have no choice but to continue purchasing it. It crumbles easily and it's also good for them as it contains 99% of duck, organs, and bone. Since its raw you're supposed to use within 30 days of opening. I didn't like that at first because I thought it might get wasted, but since it gets used daily, I honestly don't think any of it will be going to waste. My cats give it two paws up!
