GreenYi Wireless WiFi Phone Backup Camera Work with Most Android iOS Smart Devices by APP, IOS13 OR Above NOT Compatible

Bought this for an ebike so I could see behind me when crossing lanes without having to turn around. I simply connected it to a small battery and couldn't be happier. The only issue was with the instructions. I used my Samsung Note 8 to scan the barcode to download the app but got an error. Instead, I went to the playstore and downloaded the app directly. It's called V-Car.As soon as I connect to the cameras wifi the app instantly opens and displays the video feed. The camera is excellent. Image quality, color, exposure and field of view are exactly what I hoped for. The feed has no lag or delay either which surprised me.It's extremely compact and barely noticeable.This product just works. Considering how many small cameras like this I've tried, I can confidently say it's my favorite.

Works well for the price. WiFi sender is about 15 inches from camera. Yet power cord is 6 or 7 feet long. Slight flaw, the WiFi unit should be 6ft long so it's closer . Just behind rear seat would be ideal. Luckily WiFi unit just reaches my trunk in a BMW Z4. So unit is just behind me. Tried placing unit in my bumper, but video was jumpy. Had to drill hole into the trunk. Now video is perfect. Real time.I tapped into license plate light

Updated review:Total junk. After the camper was sitting in storage for 8 months, the camera just stops displaying a picture. It powers up and connects but shows an all white image.Total f'ing garbage.Original Review: It works but falls off line all the time.Sometimes you have to wait 2-3 min to get it online. Sucks when you want to backup.Boot time is quick. It falls offline even 4-5 feet away when testing.I mounted on the rv, wired to a running light so I can turn on anytime with the switch for lights in the truck. Then I can back the trailer.It works 28ft away, until it falls offline.

So far this inexpensive little camera is awesome!! I hooked the wiring to a cigarette plug and plug it into my accessory 12v in the back of my suv. I only use it to back up to my trailer and so far it works perfectly!!!

I Have not Installed It Yet,But I did Bench Test it wish a 12 volt power supply the instructions are very difficult to understand, Need to be revised for sales in English speaking countries. After I figured It out The Camera works great on the test bench,But I have not used it in a real life situation.

App doesn’t launch automatically and 15-20 second lag time to connnect to WiFi while sitting in reverse. Worth spending a little more for sure.

It was easy to install. Wires were clearly labeled. I hooked it up and it just works. I always turn on the phone app before I turn on the car ignition and the app will auto display the video for me.
