I absolutely love reading this collection of short stories written by one of my favorite artists, Tablo. The stories are incredibly poignant. Highly recommend.

Even if you didn't read Tablo's forward, it's very easy to understand the meaning of the title once you've read through the book. It's an easy read for your brain when you consider length and language, but a much more profound read for your psyche and heart. I first became a fan of Tablo over six years ago, when I was caught by the poetry of his musical career, and he has put his poetry in his prose with this collection of short stories. Even without experience with the situations written, the stories call back to the emotions of my own struggling youth, and the pieces of me that I had not thought of often, or recently. I would and do recommend this book to my friends as a great read, especially on down days that call for introspection.

I absolutely loved this book. I feel I must first note that I am a HUGE K-pop fan...especially Epic High, Tablo, BigBang, Jay Park, Ect....the list goes on and on.Anyway....if I put all of that aside and read this book again with no bias, I would still love it. The short stories really catch your attention and keep it until you realize your at the end of the book and wanting more. As I was reading this book, I kept thinking to myself..I wonder if these stories are actually about Tablo's life? They seem so personal and heartfelt. I sincerely recommend this book to anyone who loves a good read, not just K-pop fans. Actually, thinking about it, this book really doesn't make you think about k-pop or anything like that. If I didn't know it was written by Tablo...I would guess it was some literary great or something.Seriously BUY THIS BOOK ITS AWESOME

Like most people, I bought this book as a fan of Tablo. It's a quick read, and probably the most poignant short story is Andante. Don't expect this to be mind-blowing or out of this world -- it's not. However, it IS a good commentary about some social norms surrounding people in the volatile 18-24 age range. Keep in mind that Tablo wrote most of these stories when he himself was around that age, so a lot of the pieces are reflective of that. I would recommend this book as a casual read, a good way to spend a weekend if you just want to spend some time reading.

Tablo is an amazing musician/artist, and his lyrics are so good. I was really impressed with his first book so I wanted to give this a try. These contain short stories he had written while in school. They are quite dark. Not really my cup of tea but I can see his creative mind through these stories.

Of course, I am no professional critic, but this book was a whole different experience with what words can do. Tablo's voice is the kind of cool, loneliness that one can only develope through personal struggles and experiences. Like a modern Shakespeare, you need to read it slowly and analyze every word of it, because there is so much more going on than it seems. Behind the cover of the book, a handwritten note from Tablo poetically states how he wrote the book for those who are like him; lost and alone. And his stories, as original as they are, are truely comforting for those who are struggling with life. Overall, you realize that Tablo has a completely different way of looking at the world, and it can clearly be seen through his style of writing. I highly recommend this book and,while I am at it, Epik High's music. They are both two pieces of Tablo's life that fit perfectly together.

I bought this book as a long time Tablo fan, but I’m reviewing it as a passionate reader that found meaning through the short stories. This is a book for the lost hearts, for those trying to find meaning.

El contenido del libro ya es una joya en si, pero al recibirlo quedé fascinada con la calidad de los materiales. Para comenzar, viene en pasta dura, con una cubierta delicadamente impresa en relieve (en coreano y en español). Trae además una cinta fija en la parte superior para usar como separador (un lujo en estos tiempos) y por si fuera poco está firmado por Tablo!! Trae otros pequeños detalles pero mejor dejo que ustedes los descubran.

Really enjoyed all of Tablo's short stories, I hope to one day have the balls to publish some of mine like he did.
