Great usb c micro sd reader
This is exactly what I was looking for. Sleek and usb type c. Pair this with a laptop/desktop with usb type c and the transfer speeds are awesome!

It kinda works
I am not sure if it's just the one I received but my usb as card reader disconnects after writing about 20~30 Gb of data and the same thing happens when reading from it. It's a consistent issue and I already tested other card readers with the same sd card and haven't had any issues. It should be fine for most people since I doubt many people will be using it to transfer that much data at once but this doesn't work for me since I wanted to use this as a bootable drive and have a couple of programs to repair computers and I can't have it disconnecting on me randomly since it could potentially make things worse.

High speed handy microSD reader
Works great on my MacBook Pro and iMac 5K. Great design to support both USB 3.0 type A and type C. Just insert microSD into lower slot of USB type A side, and you're good to go! To eject it, there's a slider on the back of the reader to push microSD out. I did a quick performance test with Samsung 64GB microSD (Class 10 UHS1). To my surprise, the read/write speed of this PQI reader exceeds Samsung stock SD adapter (results shown in photo). The result is 84MB/s write and 91.1MB/s read. My phone doesn't support type C, so can't test the OTG feature. Overall, I'm very happy with this little high speed microSD reader!

Great
I had to spend a minute trying to figure out how the microSD card mechanism worked as there's no instructions in the packaging, but it's pretty cleverly designed (microSD fits within the USB-A port).I transferred a few GB worth of photos and it worked fine, also tested writing ~37GB worth of files; transfer maxed out my card's speed and didn't get the random disconnecting issue another reviewer had.There's a plastic flap covering the USB-A/card reader port that blocks me from using the other USB ports on my desktop - I just went ahead and removed the flap cover.Highly recommended if you want a fast, compact adapter with both USB A and C ports!

the write speed is really comparable to other mass market products out there, but at a much better price. if you aren't too concerned with brand names, i'd highly suggest this one. i tested this with my 2GB microsd card and my macbook pro circa 2016.

Necesitaba este producto debido a que actualmente venden los moviles sin Slot para MicroSD, tengo Tantas en casa y con muchos tamaños que me gustaria seguir utilizandolas para mi dia a dia ( trabajo y ocio ).Este producto que ayuda a muuuuchisimas cosas, entre ellas a suplir la falta de slot de MicroSD e incluso a no tener que llevar cables ya que lo usas como Movil-MicroSD-PC y a la inversa, incluso dejando respaldo de los datos en la MicroSD, cosa MUY a tener en cuenta con las nuevas tecnologias.De tamaño compacto, de facil uso y MUY UTIL e Incluso NECESARIO.Poco mas que añadir a este Must Have.

Maravilla para los teléfonos con USB C 3.0
Lo tengo con una tarjeta de memoria de 128 gb. Lo convierte en básicamente un pequeño disco duro que lo puedo conectar indistintamente tanto al ordenador como al teléfono consiguiendo la máxima tasa de transferencia de la tarjeta. El protector puede estorbar en alguno conectores del ordenador pero lo prefiero ya que protege el puerto y la tarjeta microSD

Diseño raro, pero muy rápido
El diseño es peculiar porque solo protege el USB del ordenador (donde va la tarjeta), pero funciona perfecto. Con un Oneplus 5T va muy rápido, estoy muy contento con la compra.

outstanding quality and performance
The build quality of the card reader is very good. Even though the housing is made of plastic it almost feels like a metal, also it doesn't squeak, both halves fit perfectly. BTW the cap is removable.The reader's performance was tested with SanDisk 128 GB ultra card: 90 MB/s read and 32 MB/s write speeds matches to what card manufacturer claims. The reader is well worth its 16 EUR I paid for it.

Es un gran pen sin duda,lo único es que la capucha que protege el conector en algunos casos dificulta la conexión.
