What a piece of crap. Extremely Low Tuner Sensitivity. Does not pickup many of the local Digital OTA Stations.The Nvidia Shield Tablo Engine App constantly locks forcing me to do Shield Reboots to clear. In some cases had to be uninstalled, the Nvidia Shield Rebooted and then reinstalled to get it to come up.The DVR part of the App claims that the "Disk is full" I have more than 100 GB free and on top of that gives no way to save to any other Local or Network Devices.This Item is a complete joke and a huge waste of anyone's time.

The Tablo tuner is not a complete solution. For this to work with the shield you'll need a USB drive for data Storage, even if you don't plan on recording anything. There's also a subscription fee for guide data. I might have been able to live with having paid $80 for this device or even with having to add a usb drive to my Shield for it, but I'm not going to pay them $5 a month to use it.

Awesome device for OTA DVR access. I started with AirTV after going through 2 in a couple of months I looked for another option. Enter TABLO! I already have switched from Roku to the Nvidia Shield Streamer so the small USB Tablo was just what I needed. Easy Setup and integration to Nvidia Shield using Tablo Engine App. My Shield already had a 4TB Storage via USB so Tablo requested to use this for it's Storage too. The Tablo Guide is Free for 30 days then $4.99 mo. but I'm impressed with the quality of the Guide that $5 bucks a month is worth it to preset recording further than 24 hours. What a Night and day difference from my beginning with Roku and AirTV, Nvidia Shield and Tablo work Great together. 10STARS

ok it was a tough set up you need a external hard drive 50gb minimum , lol then you only get the channels they want you to , my antena gets 20 or so local channels but the tablo would only let me access 10 .;.; you are better off just using tuner that is built into tv set .; pluss you have to pay 4 bucks a month lol .;.;.;.;maybe it is me but i canot recommend this.I gave it one star it was a challenging set up process.

The product works as described but I was a little bit confused that there aren't any free guide capabilities. You get the first 30 days of the guide free but then you need a subscription. It's only $40 for a year which isn't the issue - there is a free over the air guide that should have been an option. Overall it's a good product and a great way to cut the cord with your cable company and still get free HD television channels through your Nvidia Shield.

This thing is so close to being a very good product. The problem is, when it works, it works, and when it doesn't....well, you know. So often this thing freezes up....you have to back to settings and either remove and reinstall, ;'stop' it and 'open' it, or reset it. And this happens a lot. It's integration with Nvidia is fine, adding storage is easy....it just so often does not work.

I had it but ended up returning it because my Nvidia shield could not recognize the unit. I don't know if I got a bad unit or it is false advertising.

Unusable with constant freezes and buffering requiring frequent reboots.

Works really well with me 16GB NVidia Shield. As expected, I had to buy an external USB hard drive to make it work better. Thankfully, it comes with a short USB extension cord as the tuner is rather fat and would block the other USB port is it was connected directly. I know it down one star because the app is a little slow to get going.

Le produit avait tout pour être intéressant mais il s’avère très instable. Gèle régulièrement durant l’usage ou pendant les enregistrements. J’ai contacté le support technique qui n’ont pus résoudre les problèmes donc j’ai demandé un remboursement pendant que je pouvait le faire. Si vous souhaitez acheter un tuner pour le nvidia shield, allez-y avev le hdhomerun, je l’utilise avec Plex Pass DVR et je suis très satisfait

Bon produit malgré une interface minimale et peu agréable. La navigation est un peu lente sur notre nvidia Shield TV.Obligation d'utiliser le logiciel Tablo Engine qui donne 30 jours de guide horaire gratuit ensuite il faut payer ou avoir 24 heures.Ne fonctionne pas avec Live Channels.

After latest Shield upgrade, I no longer get any station.
