I use the pectin to naturally ease my arthritis symptoms. When I travel, bringing the liquid form of pectin, Certo the jam/jelly thickener, is inconvenient. These pills offer a more transportable version of pectin.

Brought because I read somewhere this can bind to heavy metals and I was having a old mercury (amalgam) filling being cut out for a inlay. The drilling and cutting may have made me inadvertently swallow some mercury so thought I'd buy a bottle of these.I have noticed that since taking these I have been somewhat more regular, for me that's a good side effect!With the mentioned above side effect I might purchase again.

This is apple powder and will not chelate heavy metals or detoxify. Very disappointing.
