Do yourself a favor and buy a spline roller as well.
Good quality screen, but it is impossible to get the spline in unless you use a roller. This kit needs to come with a spline roller. Be careful with the spline tho, if you pull and twist it too much it will break apart. It's easier to cut each side to length then use the spline roller to get everything tucked in.

Be prepared to spend a couple hours on it.
These are a pain in the butt to put together, but they do work well once together. Measure twice, cut once. It really bothers me that they stopped including lids with their tanks and charge what a preassembled lid would cost for these.

I really have a hard time being critical but. ...
I really have a hard time being critical but... The spline is way to thick to work into the channel on the aluminum rail. I went to home depot to find a smaller spline, just to work into the mesh they were all too small. Home Depot has 5-6 different aluminum rails, almost identical to the ones in this product and splines to fit perfectly as well as the corner brackets. I'm a big DIY guy and I struggled with this one. The DIY screen kit at HD can probably be made for $12. It would be easier than this. The screen mesh is harder plastic than I realized and trying to install it with the spline was frustrating as H*%#. Get the HD rails and spline and find mesh somewhere else because HD's screen options won't work that well with the lighting needs to run a reef tank. Look into getting bird netting (garden supply) and DIY. I rate the ease of assembly a 1 out of a possible 400.

Great product
Before you attempt assembly, you'll need a spine tool. Once you have it, the instructions on how to assemble the kit is simple to follow. The assembled kit looks great on my tank.

Don't waste your time or stress level
The only easy things assembling this unit was cutting the frame. 1) The mesh is kinda cheap and thick and hard to work/stretch on the frame 2) The rubber/caulk rope/backer they give you is cheap and brittle 3) really use a screw driver? you need the roller tool in conjunction with it. I am disgusted. You watch the video on install and no its not that easy and will take you more then 1/2 hour lol. Now I need to go online and get another mesh screen and rope $$$. Thanks IM.I bought this for my Innovative Marine Nuvo Black 20 Gallon freshwater aquarium which is an awesome tank. I was going to upgrade to a IM Nuvo Black 30L but the thought of cutting a new screen for that makes my toes curl. Was even thinking of getting a IM Fusion 30L and run saltwater but might get Fluvial M90 now cause I am not stressing over the screen.
