Birdz Beak Glossy Black Over Glasses Polarized Sunglasses

These are great fitover sunglasses, especially good for driving. The polarization works very well, and they are labeled as UV 400 which is excellent. They also do a great job of blocking light from the top and sides which most others do not do. These seem like they would fit over almost ANY glasses, which is nice for some people but the truth is they are huge, so they look a little funky and of course the super-sized glasses weigh a tiny bit more as a result. I'd love to see a smaller version but then you'd probably see angry reviews from people who said it didn't fit over their oversized glasses. The hinge IS very stiff, I think a shot of WD40 might solve that problem. The only real complaint I have is that I wanted to buy two more pair after receiving the first pair only to find that the price has doubled overnight!

I feel like the Ballin'est senior citizen on the block when I rock these wraparound fit over shades. They cut glare really well, without making things too dark. Foolish as it seems, I feel like they enhance the exposure range of what I can see while driving (by toning down the brights so I can see some of the shadows).They fit over my small ovular glasses fine, but if I had some giant perscription aviator-sized beasts, these wouldn't work.EDIT:I have dropped these a few times now, and the lenses are prone to popping out of the frame. It takes a little finagling, but the lenses can be popped back into the frame readily enough. I got a new pair of glasses with rectangular lenses, about 2" w x 1.5" tall (5.1 cm x 3.8 cm) and they juuuuust fit under these.

I have an odd sized pair of prescription glasses, which are wider than most "fitover" type sunglasses can handle. Although these were listed on the manufacturer's website as being wider than the  Fitovers Eyewear Jett Sunglasses  I already own, they turned out to be significantly narrower, not able to fit over my glasses. They are also quite large overall, far too large for my head (I'm 5'11" and wear a 7 1/2 hat), which would help if worn for motorcycling or hiding out from the feds, but would be somewhat uncomfortable otherwise. On the other hand, they are reasonable cheap and seem to be sturdy enough for routine use.

I picked these up to fit over my normal eyeglasses while biking. My eyeglasses are rectangular framed and 6 inches wide where the blades are hinged. This seems about 1/4" too wide for the sunglasses to fit over.I have an older pair of eyeglasses (round lenses, smaller width frames) and the sunglasses fit fine over these. When I wore them I didn't have any problem with them slipping and they worked well as sunglasses.

I ordered these and another brand from Amazon since my prescription transition lenses do not work while driving. These are GREAT! They are rather large on your face, but I don't mind. I only use them while I am driving and they block out all the glare. I have very sensitive eyes and find that these help even on the days when the sun is not really bright. I wore them for a 6 hour car ride with my husband and literally forgot I was wearing them. Perfect! I ordered them before Christmas and although, it said they would not arrive in time for Christmas, they did which was great since the 6 hour drive was for Christmas with family. They arrived very quickly. If you don't want to spend a lot of money on prescription sunglasses, these are perfect for you!

There are a few wrap-up sunglasses out there at Amazon.com doing the same thing, which also have good customer ratings, but costs a few dollars. But I don't want to risk of getting a product of poor quality. So I chose this one paying 15 bucks. After open the plastic bag, I found this is made in Taiwan, and seems to be in good quality, not a cheap product. It is polarised and help protect my eyes. The only thing to mention is when driving the car, if I change lanes, turning my head, since it has lens on both sides, I need to be very cautious because I am afraid I may not have seen the blind spot clearly. But it is all by design to avoid sunlight to enter your eyes from the side. Taking some time, I have got used to it.

These fit over sunglasses were exactly what I wanted and they work well. They comfortably fit over my prescription lenses and give me good protection from the bright sun and from the reflected glare from cars while I'm driving. My prescription glasses darken when I'm outside but they don't when I'm in the car so these "fit-overs" do the job and don't cost what a pair of prescription sun glasses would cost. Also, the service was great, they came when they were promised.

The picture of the product is of fit over eyeglasses sunglasses. The description is "fit over eyeglasses". BUT, the sunglasses I actually received are regular sunglasses. They are not the "fit over eyeglasses" style. I called the company that supplies these items to Amazon (phone 203-870-4867) and the rep said he had no idea what happened. He is not even sure if his company sells "fit over eyeglasses" sunglasses. He says it is possible the description on Amazon is wrong and or that several company's sunglasses of different styles could have all been "merged" (whatever that means) into the product description here. He refused to ship me the correct sunglasses because he says he might ship the wrong ones again. He said to just ask Amazon for a refund. So buyer beware. If you value your time, you will just go to the local drugstore to buy the correct pair.
