Exceeded Expectations
First off, I own quite a few pieces of silicone baking items. This is by far the thickest, most sturdy piece I have ever purchased, which means it doesn’t collapse on the bottom. It passed the pinch test, so I was unable detect any fillers in the silicone. It even has its own storage bag. I put it directly on my oven rack. No problem putting it in or getting it back out. The donuts are really big. My husband is ecstatic. I used the recipe that came with the donut tray. Excellent donuts. I did use ¼ tsp both all spice and nutmeg instead of using all nutmeg. I also wiped the insides with Bakers Joy as I always use this when baking. The recipe said to fill the trays half full. Fill the tray half full. I got over zealous and my donuts puffed up A LOT as you can see in the pictures. For this reason, I had to bake the a little longer which made the bottoms browned a bit, but the bottom wasn’t hard and the tops cracked some as you can see. I’ve only ever given 2 reviews for a product I’ve purchased on Amazon, so the fact that I’m writing this should tell you how happy I am with this product. I’ll now check into getting more products from them. Oh they send out emails to thank me for my purchase. YOU NEED THIS DONUT TRAY. Mixing baking clean up took 30 minutes total. I found a recipe for Cheddar Jalepeno Scallion Donuts. I’m making those tomorrow.

Inspired to make doughnuts!
So far I've use this to make Meyer lemon poppyseed cake doughnuts. I used the lemon pound cake recipe from Manuela Kjeilen's beautiful baking book. My doughnuts came out wonderfully and are almost full-size dougnuts! I filled a Ziploc bag with batter and cut off the tip to fill the cavities. I greased six cavities and left three ungreased to see the difference. It's definitely a little better to grease up. The doughnuts come out just a little bit easier being baked in greased cavities. I conveniently used a silicone basting brush dipped in RBD coconut oil to do so. This baking pan is a quality item, has a nice heavy weight to it, is a beautiful teal color and comes in a nice canvas storage bag. If it was some other bright, tacky color I would have never purchased it. The color alone and good reviews snagged me. That is just how I am. Many reviews indicate it passes the pinch test too and it does. There is a one star review here indicating this pan didn't pass the pinch test for the customer. That person is moronic. If you stretch the silicone under a light of course there will be a slight reflection on the point where you're shoving your finger in which will appear ever so slightly whitish. However if you block the light and look at the stretch point, there's no color change: it is completely teal, meaning there are no plastic fillers. Pure silicone passes the pinch test if it does not change color to white when stretched. This is how you tell there are no plastic fillers and it is safe to use, since no one wants to leach plastic into their food. I'm very happy and I am looking forward to baking more cake doughnut recipes. I think I'm going to try pineapple upside down doughnuts next! Then some chocolate cake doughnuts using my Guittard! Lastly, perhaps the pan could have been an even dozen, only a thought. Thank you kindly Wappa!

Where has this been all my baking life?
I made the chocolate doughnut and the plain nutmeg doughnut recipe that was included. I used sour cream for the plain doughnut out of necessity and I think I will continue to use it going forward. I think I’ll swirl sugar/cinnamon and nuts through the center next time. I’m going to try the chocolate again with different chocolate. I think I used Dutch which I found lacking. What really blows me away is making what I’m calling my Benglish. It is like a biscuit/bagel/English muffin. I have been making these every day. Double toasted, they have the crunch of an English muffin with a tender interior of a biscuit. The dough is high moisture so it forms well in the pan. The darker bake on some is due to the amount of water I dabbed on top. The darker ones were best. The pan doesn’t brown the bottom of my Benglish (you get the best of both worlds) but the doughnuts get a consistent color. The pan is pricey but the size of the doughnut/bagel makes me happy. I also purchased a $9.99 smaller pan from another vendor but the doughnuts are smaller and more shallow (not bad, just different). I’d buy another but I am baking out of a large toaster oven. This suits my needs.

Easy-peasy pan
I've been a baker for years, but never made donuts. Frying them didn't appeal to me. Someone gave me a donut mix for baked donuts, so I decided to try them in Wilton pans that claimed to make "large" donuts. NOT! I went to a lot of trouble to measure the pans listed on Amazon to make sure I'd get adult-sized donuts. My son wanted red velvet donuts for Christmas and I'd get the pan by then. The pan was just the right size. I just made my first batch, overfilled the donut cavities, and hoped they came out in one piece. Success!!!! Popped right out. I did use baking spray although I may not have needed it. Cleaning the pan was a breeze. I'll be making a lot of donuts in the future for sure!

LOVE IT!
Ten minutes after the mailman dropped this off, I was making gluten free and low carb donuts. I love it! I've only used it once, but, it seems to work well. I am pre-diabetic and a bit too plump and I need goodies to keep me going on the straight and narrow.I have found over the years that baking gluten free requires some special tricks. Using silicone baking pans is one of those tricks. Items that might otherwise crumble (due to using flours that don't contain gluten), come out easily. All I did with this donut pan was turn it upside down and all the donuts came out perfectly! (I did spray it with coconut oil before adding the dough).Next, gluten free and low carb bagels!Oh, and since my oven died, I use a counter top convection oven for all my cooking and baking. It has a capacity of 9 X 13 and this barely fit with the side flaps a bit bent. But, it worked! So far, so good! I'll let you know if anything changes!

Real deal
This is the real deal. I was looking for a pan that made full size or as large as i could find for a donut size pan. I was so pleasantly surprised by the size of the moulds as they look like a bakery size donut. Not massive but just right. It even comes with a little recipe card which was a nice bonus.

I like it!
I really like this mold. I've used it several times for doughnuts and bagels. It's doing the trick so far. Also I did the squeeze test on the silicone and it didn't show any white so I think it's a good grade of silicone.
