They will work
These work good for this 3D mask I decided to try.

Nice thickness, easy to bend but holds shape, good quality for price.
I've been making face masks for about a month, using various wires both purchased and scavenged, and by far I prefer these wires. They're a nice thickness and length to have a good mask fit, the plastic allows a bit more stability so they do not twist in the wash like pure metal wires have but are still easily bent to fit by hand. I've made over100 masks with them so far, and the only issue I've seen is occasionally there will be a tiny bit of the wire poking out the side of the plastic which can snag the fabric when inserting, but taking an extra moments care on insertion seems enough to deal with it fine. Definitely recommend, and will be reordering when my supply runs low.

Very good nose shapers for masks
I am making Covid face masks for charity, so anything that speeds up the process is welcome. I was pleased to find out that my sewing machine can stitch thought the plastic between the wires. This allows me to sew the strip to the mask, Cutting out the need for a casing. It is the right size and stiffness for shaping over your nose. the price was great too.The only improvement would be if the ends were smoother. I anticipate that they could rub through the fabric after a while.

I am the enemy of ALL twist-tie-type nosepieces - from experience - HAZARD - UNSAFE
The wires wiggle out of their nice safe sheath and stab to the point of bleeding - right through the fabric. EYES are in danger since the nosepiece sits an inch away from the eyes. Children who get their hands on the wire thing will tug it our and eat it. DANGER - the odds were bound to get me. I am a sewist of cloth masks for free distribution in my town and it finally happened as I neared my 300th mask making. So I went back and checked all the others and a few others wanted to mess up, as well. Eek! I trashed them and switched to the plain stick-on aluminum ones that can be attached on the outside of a mask or slid into a top pocket. BE SAFE - CHECK YOUR MASKS.

These functioned exactly like I thought that they would
I purchased this item to use as nose bridge wire for some masks that I purchased. They were not quite as stiff as I would have liked but I found that I could double up on them in the holder that the mask had and it worked sufficiently. They could have been a bit more sturdy or a bit thicker - hence the 4 starts..... As far as the sheerness goes while they were not very sheer - I really didn't care one way or the other....

Flexible, shape well
I bought these to sew into face masks and found the easiest way was to first stitch it to a strip of fabric and then stitch that strip to the mask fabric itself. This keeps it fairly well anchored into place. They shape nicely - hold their shape without being overly stiff like a solid strip. They also have a slight curve which is helpful. Sometimes the wire sticks out past the plastic shield at the ends so that can poke through and be annoying but otherwise, these do the trick and have held up through repeated washings (and the dryer).

Huge improvement over other things I tried!
I’m using these for homemade face masks, and I prefer masks with an adjustable nosepiece. I’ve tried using twist ties (they do the job, but aren’t fabulous) and automotive wire (also did the job, but sadly, the wire starts poking out of the casing after going through the washer). This product is easy to use, does the job quite nicely, and no wires will poke out of it even after repeated machine washings. Wish I had these early on when I made dozens of masks! For many masks which don’t have the adjustable nosepiece, these could be used to retro-fit them. I’ll be using some of these to replace the wires in masks I’ve already made.

Better fitting masks and more comfortable nose wires, especially for glasses wearers.
I had trouble making nose pieces that were comfortable and that did not break. I tried paper clips, pipe cleaners, and aluminum wire. Most broke or were too uncomfortable to wear. Then I discovered the coffee bog closures! They worked -- but I couldn't drink enough coffee to keep up with my mask requests. Then I discovered the nose bridge pieces on Amazon!!! They are precut to the right size, they don't break, and they can be adjusted to fit the wearers face. Hooray.
