Waldhausen Bare Back pad, Bareback pad

I bought the WB size which I took to mean warm blood and it fits my 14.1 cob well but would also do a longer larger horse. The strap placement means this sits more off the wither than on and over the shoulders. I found it secure and superb to ride in. I like some padding but not so much I can't get a bareback feeling and this delivered. The skirt and girth straps are shorter compared to other pads I've used which meant I couldn't use my horses favourite soft sheepskin dressage girth. I therefore had to use the girth supplied but it went round him fine and stayed secure. He seemed happy. Normally he'd be in a 28 inch girth but this girth comes up longer at around 30 to 32 inches. At this length it sat on the middle hole on the straps so I'm happy we can go up or down depending on how much grass he has eaten! All in all this is a nice little bareback pad at an excellent price. I ordered over the Xmas break and got a delivery estimate of end of Jan. But it arrived within 3 days which I was chuffed about.

I'm a Western rider and I thought this an simply great idea but I find that it slides back from the withers on both my horses. A TB and a Saddler. I also tried it on a friends Boerperd (like a cob) and it slid back on him. Very comfortable ride while it lasted - until the pad reached the middle of the back and on the way to the rump!! Also absolutely have to use a mounting block or be able to vault on -if you use the stirrups the pad slides right round (again on the three horses I tried). In the end I put a couple of numnahs under it and.that seemed to do the job. Also the stirrup and girth straps are not very solid so I don't think the pad would put up with a great deal of use, and.certainly not in the rain! But it is certainly fun and I enjoy the feel very much. But as I've said I think the idea is so good that I would be prepared to pay more for better quality and proper fit.

Saddle does not fit a large horse. The girth/cinch is too small and the stirrup straps cannot be adjusted correctly. The pad itself is fine but the important parts of it arent. I have had to buy a girth and stirrup leathers to go with this and that is more money as it should have been advertised that it would only fit a great dane dog!!!!

Great quality but I am going to have to buy a new girth for it as the one that came with it is too big - I have a tubby 14.3hh qh so if you have a smaller horse keep that in mind!

You should never use stirrups with a bareback pad like this. It pushes down and puts way to much pressure on the horses back. Avoid

I found this fits my 16hh pre very well, value for money, amazing quality....will be buying another one!!!

Leider wurde ein ganz anderes geschickt als auf den Bildern.denn die oberen Ringe fehlen was sehr schade ist weil ich diese für die Steigbügel brauche damit die Kinder es benutzen können.Ansonsten weich und echt bequem aber es gibt ordentliche Druck Punkte überm rücken beim Pferd wo die strippe ist.beim gurten entsteht ordentlich Druck oben.

Tolle Pferdedecke. Passt gerade noch auf das neue Holzpferd mit einem Durchmesser von 54cm. Die Pferdedecke rutscht und wird nicht fest. Hab den Bauchgurt angeschraubt. So kann man das obere Teil abnehmen bei Regen.Für ein echtes Pferd würde ich ihn wohl eher nicht nehmen. Kenne mich aber mit Pferdesattel nicht wirklich aus.

Meine Tochter benutzte das Reitkissen in erster Linie auf Ihrem "Trainingspferd" daheim. Den Sattelgurt kann man sehr kurz einstellen, so daß das Kissen auch auf Holz- und Spielpferden einseztbar ist. Die Steigbügel lassen sich kürzen bis für ein Kind von ca. 140 cm Größe. Unser Deutsches Reitpony geht sehr gut und entspannt unter dem Reitkissen und lässt den Rücken schön frei. Ich bin sehr zufrieden

Die Sattelschnalle war viel zu kurz weshalb ich eine andere anschaffen mussteDas Pad rutscht etwas aber den Fehler könnt man auch behebenEs sieht super schön aus

Sieht Super aus , schneller Versand klasse Service. gut der Bauchgurt ist mit 80cm etwas kurz für meinen „Dicken“, aber das lässt sich ja schnell durch einen längeren Bauchgurt lösenSteigbügel aus HartplastikFreu mich drauf es nutzen

Der sattelgurt war für unser perd zu lang ,darauf hin mussten wir ein kürzeren sattelgurt kaufen und vorderzeug damit der sattelpad mit nach hinten rutscht

rietkissen für ponny liegt super auf dem pferd, kinder sitzen super .ist ziemlich rutschfest.

Sehr hübsches Pad, leicht zu tragen und für den Preis auch in Ordnung. Beim Reiten allerdings sehr gefährlich. Versucht man - trotz bis zum Anschlag angezogenem Gurt - aufzusteigen, ist man schneller wieder auf dem Boden als man gucken kann, da das Pad gleich mit runterrutscht. Hat man es dennoch geschafft, oben zu sitzen, verrutschen die Steigbügel schief nach unten. Selbst gute Reiter können sich im Galopp kaum halten da das Pad einfach mitrutscht, wenn man sich auch nur 2 cm in die Kurve lehnt. Der Haltegriff ist das Gefährlichste, versucht man sich daran festzuhalten, sitzt man mitsamt Reitpad UNTER dem Pferd.Für gemütliche SCHRITT Ausritte auf braven Pferden bedingt benutzbar - an mehr ist aber nicht zu denken. Für Reitanfänger absolut nicht geeignet und auch nicht für das Gelände.

Wir haben dieses Reitpad meiner Tochter für Ihr xxl spielpferd gekauft. Es passt perfekt, guter halt und Steigbügel sind verstellbar.Bauchumfang vom Speilpferd 104 cm.Bin super zufrieden
