I have had trouble for years with what I called lawn cancer in my centipede grass. It would start in the spring as a small clump and grow to form a low thick dense mat that aggressively spread into the adjoining grass and several colonies would take over large sections of the lawn. I tired everything over the years from physically cutting it out (it came back) and re sodding to overdosing with Weed-B Gone Max (which killed everything including the grass) and left large dead spots. Finally, I decided to try this relatively expensive remedy as a last resort since I thought that I finally diagnosed the stuff as a type of crabgrass. One dose was all it took (even though it rained within an hour of application). Within a day it shriveled and within a week all spot treated areas had significant die back. And the centipede was not affected at all. I missed a few spots and will have to go back and hit them before it gets too hot here in Alabama. But I think that this is the ultimate cure for my particular problem. Curiously, it did not kill some of the broad leaf weeds but those are easily treated with traditional remedies.

This herbicide is amazing. Killed crabgrass in my back yard. I also applied it in my front yard (photos not posted) which has crabgrass on ryegrass and it killed the weed, but not the lawn. In photos, you see the affected area is in blue, it is because I've used Mark it Blue to dye the solution so that I know which area is sprayed. Awesome herbicide (at least for crabgrass).

I purchased this product in hopes of killing crab grass that has invaded my lawn. So far I have applied it twice and although the crab grass browns a few days after application, it bounces right back. Initially I mixed it at 750ml per gallon of water and the second time, I just about doubled the strength, with no difference in results. It does do well on other broadleaf weeds though.

It is a bitch to put on as it has to be mixed in water and sprayed... and with a 1-gallon hand help sprayer that is a chore. However... was impressed with the weed-kill ability. Even knocked out much of the very healthy crabgrass on first application. I needed this product versus the easy to apply Scotts products because my lawn is now Buffalo Grass.

Takes time but works great
