Kensington MP16 MacBook Pro Magnetic Privacy Screen for 2019 16" MacBook Pro (K52200WW)

There were reviews that said their MacBook didn't close properly. Mine MacBook is a Late 2021 model and it works and closes perfectly. The ONLY wish I had is I will there was a magnet or some picture for teh bottom of the screen as it does not attach at the bottom at all. No big deal just a wish. GREAT PRODUCT and works really well for Snoopy at the office.

Right out of the box, just un-package and let it snap in place. It finds its own center. You may notice that you need to brighten up your screen but that’s the idea, no one else can see your work.I use this at airports and on planes where nosy neighbors are watching my screen. I don’t need them to see my business and work. When in the office, pop off the screen for normal use and sharing of screen. Comes with a nice carrying folder for storage.

The screen protector is about 0.5-1mm too wide for the Macbook pro 16 inch. The privacy screen overlaps the rubber strip that goes around the screen on one side, and lifts from the Macbook Pro screen. Because of this, the screen protector constantly isn't flush with the screen which means: 1. It falls off with any bump or when the screen isnt back far enough, 2. It doesn't give the best amount of clarity because it's not right against the screen, 3. You can't transport your laptop with it because it moves around, falls, etc.Bottom line: This product is terrible.

It does the job of keeping your screen private and dark so that onlookers will not be able to see your screen from the side. However, if someone sits directly behind you, they may still be able to see your screen, which makes sense, of course. I also like that you can choose between a glossy side or a matte side. The only downside for me is that because the screen is dark, it's difficult to see my screen despite having my brightness on max. My eyes feel strained looking at the screen, but it is a privacy screen after all.

This is the third screen I have purchased for my MacBook Pro. It attaches seamlessly and is an effective privacy screen from a 30 degree angle.

I've used multiple privacy screens before for an older MacBook 13 inch, and a 15.6 hp specter x360. What I love about this one is the ease with placing on my MacBook Pro 16 inch. The magnetic attachment was pretty easy and snapped into place. You are also provided with two adhesions that shows instructions on how to use that are placed at the bottom of the screen.Pros:+easy to apply+Fits my MacBook 16 inch perfectlyCons:-You are able to tell what is being browsed/shown on the screen if sitting next to someone that has this on. You are not able to make out the letters, unless they are zoomed in or have big font. Even with dimming my laptop to 75%, you are able to see it. I suggest putting your laptop to 50% brightness. This was where I usually have mine at and you are not able to make out the letters. I am going to keep it because it was easy to place and I don't have my screen on that bright.

Not fit for purpose for Macbook 16inch 2021, the magnetic borders are useless, it doesn't stick. When it's fixed is over the border of the mac, obstructing the camera and part of the menu.Super overprice for something that doesn't work.

Le filtrage est moins prononcé que les équivalent non magnétique que j'ai pu utilisé par le passé mais il remplit quand même sa fonction de confidentialité.Par contre, le maintien en position n'est pas au niveau. La partie magnétique n'est que sur la partie supérieur mais ce n'est pas surprenant. L'inconvenient est que du coup le filtre est très sensible à l'aération à l'arrière qui a tendance à décoller le filtre de l'écran au niveau de sa partie basse gênant ainsi la lecture de la partie basse de l'écran.Aussi, par moment, le filtre à tendance également à bailler lors de la fermeture du MacBook et il faut le remettre en place à la main pour ne rien abîmé (ni le touchpad, ni le filtre).Dommage que le maintien du filtre soit aussi limité.

It's extremely hard to tell from the description, but this won't attach to modern 16 inch macs.

Kensington is easy to use, snaps on and off so easily, thanks to it magnet strip. Previously, I have been using a cheaper brand, where you has to stick a two way tape on the screen and it was hard to remove. Kensington is great for collaboration when you have to share your screen with others. I was so happy with this, I got the 13" inch too.

Previously had the old Macbook Pro one which was pretty good, so when upgrading to the new 16" Pro I got another one and the quality has gone downhill. Completely unusable. Only a couple of mm too big but means it doesn't fit on the screen and just falls off. Binned within minutes of use.
