Works great. Looks great. Holds up great. Solid buy.
I used to have a fancy stove top kettle, but got this after a trip to Ireland where my AirBnB had an electric kettle. I love this thing. It heats up super fast, the goose neck is great for controlled pours, and it has a really small footprint in my tiny NYC apartment. If you're a run-of-the-mill coffee/tea drinker, this will very much satisfy all of your needs. My only beef with this particular kettle is that the switch at the base feels a little flimsy. I've gotten used to it over time, but I still feel like I'm going to snap it off if I apply too much effort on accident. I still love it though and don't think it's a deal breaker by any means.

Does the job, looks nice!
I gave this kettle 5 stars because it...- Worked right out of the box- Isn't too big and looks nice on the countertop (see picture with 16 oz tumbler next to it for size comparison)- Boils fast, like a hot pot should- Lets you flick the toggle off easily if you don't want water to go all the way to boiling- Has a light on the front to let you know when it's on- Has automatic shutoff for those of us who forget we're heating waterOther notes:- It gets hot on the outside, like a normal metal kettle, but is not hot on the bottom so you can set it on the countertop.- The base feels flimsy.- The "hidden cord" option is iffy: the cord wraps around a footer inside the base, but you have to unwind the cord a set amount for it to emerge from the divot on the base, and it seems to always be either too long or too short. Not sure if that makes sense, but in summary, it could be a better system--not enough to take a star away, though. This was exactly what I expected for the price and is an extremely useful appliance.

I love this thing
I love this thing! I recently decided that I was going to throw away my drip coffee maker because I would make too much coffee wasting both water and coffee grounds. I wanted to go more "manual" so I bought a burr grinder, a pour over cone and this water kettle. I have literally never tasted better coffee in my life! What I love about this kettle is its efficiency and its size. It fits on your counter perfectly and rotates 360º on the heating apparatus. The goose neck spout is perfect for getting all the missed coffee grounds that stick to the side of the filter. It pours smooth with a constant stream and depending on how much water you put in, it heats up fast! For a full 1.0L you're looking at about 6.5-7 minutes for boiling. If you put in just enough for a cup or two of coffee then it will be boiling in about 3 minutes. The handle stays cool to the touch but the kettle itself is pretty hot so watch out not to touch it. The lid has 3 holes in it for steam release and it comes off fairly easy without too much force. Not only has this device made me great coffee, but it is fantastic for hot water for any purpose. It is much faster than the stovetop and just a simple "flick of the switch" gets you a pot of hot water in no time.Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed!

Good kettle for the price
Good kettle for the price.I was looking for an alternative to the higher priced gooseneck kettle brands (i.e. Bonavita), and this more or less meets my needs: it looks good, boils quickly, has a small footprint, and a 1L capacity. The cord length is adjustable, with the excess wrapped around the bottom of the base, which is nice. The only downside is that the kettle wobbles on its base. It wobbles quite a bit when it's empty, and less when it's full. It's as though the kettle itself isn't designed quite right to be fully seated on the base. (FYI: I actually ordered a second kettle to see if it would have a similar issue, and it did.) The kettle still functions beautifully, but if a wobble will bother you, go for a more expensive version.Overall, happy with my purchase.

Stylish little kettle from a customer-pleasing company
This is the most stylish and highly reviewed kettle I found on Amazon. The Elementi is more attractive and compact than better known Bonavita kettles. Elementi is offered by a relatively young company zealous about customer follow up and service. The kettle works exactly as advertised, with a simple one lever operation. So, what is not to like or be improved? Standard 1 liter kettles (most brands) max out a 8-cup Chemex. The Elementi's cord (directions say to unplug it after each use) is stiff, and does not easily re-wrap inside the base. A reviewer's complaint it is too short is not true; but when fully extended, it takes effort to route the cord through its base "notch." Some reviewers note slight discoloration of the kettle bottom. But it's not rust; a whisk with a bottle brush and CLR restores the bright stainless. A bead or two of water may appear on the base and look like a leak, but it's steam condensation. These are nit-picks. You'll be proud to display your Elementi with its simple, elegant operation.

Malas soldaduras, se le sale el agua/no reembolsan el dinero
The media could not be loaded. El aparato se veía bien hasta que le puse el agua y comenzó a chorrear por la base del cuello de cisne, no esperaba una experiencia tan desalentadora... Y menos ahora que no me han reenvolsado el cisto de este aparato defectuoso... Alguien me va a ayudar??
