***review for the Hyper x cloud alpha S headphones ONLY***I Purchased this replacement mic for the hyper x cloud alpha s and it is perfect. Much much better than the one that came with the headset. I obviously can't guarantee this with everybody but the default mic that came with mine was horrendous, nobody could hear, there was a lot of static and it sounded like I was taking for 4 feet away. Please for the love of God don't listen to people in the comments saying that this doesn't fit the cloud alpha s, IT DOES, and it's snug for that matter. Some people were saying that it's not shaped correctly and doesn't match the contour of the mic jack on the headphones. It is and is far better than the default mic.. The pics above show that it fits and fits just as good as the one that comes with the headset.

DOES NOT FIT HYPER X CLOUD HEADPHONES
Contrary to the title and description of this item the plastic around headphone jack is the wrong shape and does not allow it to be plugged into the headphones.

Almost identical replacement
Was slightly sceptical on buying this as there were a few negative reviews stating it didn't fit etc. I would disregard these and say that:It is near identical to the original - sound quality and build quality. It fits the Cloud Alpha perfectly. The shape is slightly different at the microphone end but is absolutely no problem.If you're purchasing for the Cloud Alpha, I assure you that is is as close to identical replacement as you can get. Will sound nearly identical to the original and work just as well!

Buzzes
Fits perfect for the HyperX Cloud Alpha, emits a loud buzzing noise though. My friends said the buzz was louder than my voice & when I tested it I could hear it also.Decent replacement for a low price, but not close to the original in terms of quality.

DOES NOT WORK WITH HYPERX CLOUD ALPHAS
This product does not work as a replacement microphone for the HyperX Cloud Alphas. The socket is obviously not designed for this size input and consequently does not work with the Cloud Alphas.
