Battery's not very good so testing it by looking at the sun....didn't react very well

The mask works fine for welding - no “arc eye. However the display is a sealed unit - you can’t change the batteries. The adjustable band works fine but the whole thing is quite flimsy for its application. Conclusion - it does whats required of it but don’t expect too much

Great helmet and had a problem with the lens when delivered, but it was sorted out straight away, great for grinding too.

Great product works well

It works fine and fits well.The one thing I was unhappy with is the clips that secured the screen the right hand side on the inside, was badly fitted the hole for the cilp was to small so it wouldn't unclip to release the screen.Ended up having to cut the plastic tab off to get the screen out I now have to use a small screw to fix the right side of the screen down.I would like to point out that I could have sent it back but I needed it then and there so had to make it work.

Lightweight and brilliant !

This is a great affordable mask but man there needs to be some instruction on how to assemble the headset together or even better, do it in the factory.

Like most geniuses, I threw away the instructions as I opened the box. Its a welding mask, not an aeroplane and I have had a self darkening mask before. Anyway, after setting the sensitivity and delay settings on the lens panel, I thought I was ready to go. Had a few welds and thought, this is dimming, but not nearly enough. I was about to bin it but thought I would read the Amazon reviews. This is where I discovered you can adjust the darkness when in dark mode on the grey (in my case) knob on the OUTSIDE of the helmet. Problem solved and I am an idiot after all. I thought this was for tightening something. It was on the lightest setting. It really does go from 'off' right round to 'can hardly see it at all'. Pretty impressive.The helmet is comfortable, stays up when you need it, my kids think it looks cool and for less than 30 English quids delivered I am very pleased, now I know how to use it.
