RightRice - Thai Curry (7oz. Pack of 6) - Made from Vegetables - High Protein, Vegan, non GMO, Gluten Free

Was already a big fan of RightRice because it’s convenient, tasty, and packs more nutrients than white rice—but couldn’t get the Thai Curry flavor at my local Whole Foods. Love that I was able to throw together a delicious and nutritious lunch today between calls using a few things in my freezer and this new (to me) flavor. Will definitely be adding this flavor to my lunch rotation.

The two have tasted so far: Thai curry and Cilantro lime were both excellent.Amazon refunded for the erroneous fulfillment &Right Rice offered to send a free replacement.Update: Lemon Pepper taste is good, and if you like spicy black pepper it is very good.

We've tried most of the RightRice flavors and this is not our favorite. It's OK but we won't be purchasing this flavor again. The garlic (very garlic!), lemon pepper and cilantro lime are our favorites.

Love that it is a healthy alternative, taste good, my husband likes the curry flavored one. Must follow directions on bag, or will be mushy.

This stuff is SO good. It’s easy to make and filling. The flavors are good, but I was hoping for a bit more spice. It’s really delicious mixed with some fresh cooked spinach!

The Thai Curry flavor tasted nothing like Thai Curry and the aftertaste lingered for the rest of the evening. I threw the pan of "rice" away in the garbage can and I'm now trying to figure out what to do with the remaining 5 packets of overpriced, nasty tasting rice.

I will admit that I didn't have the highest of hopes for this product - I have tried another variety of Right Rice, and I didn't love it. I also am not a huge Indian food fan. However, I find this totally delicious! The texture is different than regular rice - it's more like pearl couscous, which I had to give up after going gluten-free and really miss. The thai curry addition gives is a good flavor, but it's not overpowering at all. It's not spicy or unpleasant - just flavorful.I love that this rice is derived from vegetables, so it's healthier than traditional rice. It's worth paying more for, in my opinion. The display box that the rice comes in is really nice, and each bag is resealable. I highly recommend giving it a try - I really think it's delicious, and I will definitely consider purchasing again!

While this does not have the same texture as rice, it's an very good tasting alternative. Preparation is quick and easy (bring water to a boil, add the RightRice, take it off the heat and let it sit). The Thai Curry flavor has a nice amount of heat and tastes very good.This can be used much like rice, either as a standalone side dish or in combination with veggies. It also works well in combination with real rice -- I do a 50/50 mix with plain rice, and the combo brings out the best in both. The texture of the RightRice is softer than actual rice, and blending the two together makes for a very enjoyable base for stir fry dishes and single pot meals.I'm very pleased with all aspects of this "veggie rice" -- highly recommend!
