This faux fur blanket is crazy luxurious! The attention to detail is impeccable: perfectly sewn seams and an uber-soft, minky under-side that's perfectly color coordinated. I absolutely ADORE how thick and heavy it is, not to mention it's rich tones of bronze, beige, and black, giving it quite a realistic look!I am so glad I took a chance. What's the worst that could've happened? I'd have to return it at an Amazon hub in my area? (Hello Top Foods!) Meh . Totally doable.Honestly, I've poured over every faux fur duvet, blanket, and throw Amazon carries hoping to find an affordable option for my standard king-size bed.Are there any downsides? Only one. That it's not bigger! I sure wish it was available in the next size up, a 'California King' (which my bed is not.) It does cover the top of my bed ok, but barely goes over the sides.OH, and why not have an even LARGER size than that? We could call it the 'Jumbo-King'! That way I could really lay it on thick and stage it up like some Game of Thrones set. Oh.. how glorious it would be!! (Now I just need the matching throw, so my cat can have her own royal sanctuary.)Affordable, fabulous, drool-worthy bedding awaits! I doubt anyone would regret this purchase.

This is exactly what I wanted! it’s warm, but not overbearing, and it’s extremely soft and cozy. I don’t dare to wash it so I only spot clean and have a sheet underneath to keep it staying clean. The fur doesn’t shed like other fur blankets that I’ve had either which I was worried about. I highly recommend.

I love this blanket. I have lupus and during a flare it keeps me warm, hugs me just right and has a weight to it that I really like. I need as much help as possible during those times so it is perfect. Of course now it is winter it is the most and best warm , soft and beautiful blanket I have.

I am so in love with this darn blanket. It’s honestly one of the best purchases I’ve made. It’s so cozy and looks luxe and expensive. I can’t speak to how it holds up washing yet, but I’ve been telling anyone who will listen about it. Mine hasn’t been shedding. Of course, the pets love it too. Perfect for the winter months. Thinking of buying another for the living room. If you’re on the fence, take this as your sign to get it!

What I love:It looks really nice (I got the gray version, and the color variation is impressive and convincing as fur)It’s super soft and silky out of the packageIt’s really warm (almost too warm; I got this to use as a throw on my bed through the winter, but unless it’s very cold where you’re at, this is probably too warm—it doesn’t breathe)It doesn’t shed like I expected it wouldWhat I don’t love:Even without washing (just with normal use as a top-layer over my bedding—it doesn’t even come in contact with my skin) anyplace it doesn’t lay totally flat overnight, the fibers became tangled and matted within days. I bought a pet brush and detangling spray, laid it flat, and spent a good 30 minutes combing through the fibers. It helped a little, but it’s never gotten back to the initial softness.It’s in storage now for the summer, we’ll see how it does this winter. I guess if you use it as a decorative throw on your couch and never touch it, it looks great.Bottom line, I was really impressed for the first few days, but quickly found the silky softness doesn’t last. I don’t have 30 minutes so spend brushing and conditioning a throw blanket every morning—I might even try clipping the fibers shorter so they don’t tangle as readily…

Bought this almost two years ago, this blanket looks great and has held up well. Only complaint is that sometimes the fur “sheds” and gets over my clothes or tickles my nose. But do not think it is significant enough to downgrade the rating.Corgi pup not included with purchase :P
