Perfect for my Father and eventually my Mother
My father recently passed away, and my Mom wanted an urn that would eventually fit both their ashes. None of the regular urns appealed to her, as they didn't fit my dad's personality. He wasn't into flowers or shiny, fancy things. I showed this wooden urn box to my mom and she loved it. I found out that 1 cu/in is equal to 1 pound, so I knew at 315 cu/in would meet their request to be together. I know this review is kind of dark, but they loved each other so much.The box itself is very well made. The bottom is not wood, but some kind of pressed board. I think it will be fine. We were very pleased with how quickly it arrived from India. It arrived the day before my father's funeral, just 5 days after we ordered it. My mom is very pleased with it. And in this time of grief, anything that makes her happy, makes me happy.

Absolute Quality Craftsmanship
I don't leave reviews often for products, but this one deserved it. I bought this urn for my beloved dog that passed away. I wanted something really nice for her. Something that was much nicer than the one the crematorium provided with the return of her ashes. I looked all over the place. I considered wooden, marble and metal urns from all over the internet. I finally decided on a nice, carved wooden urn. I bought this one from Star India Craft and a similar looking one on Amazon (that was cheaper in price). They both arrived the same day from Amazon.Buy this urn.Star India Craft's urn is so much nicer and detailed than the other one. It blew it out of the water. I can't say enough about the quality craftsmanship of this urn. Even the packaging was nice. The other urn was shipped in a very cheap, flimsy heatshrinked, thin plastic. This urn shipped in nicely wrapped quality paper inside of a box. You don't feel any sort of cheapness unwrapping this urn. This urn easily deserved 5 stars.

Takes a long time to get this box!
I ordered the Xlarge box for someone weighing 250#s the box is REALLY big!! The box size is 11" long 7. 3/4"wide 6"deep. We didn't get it in time because it took well over a week to get the box so it's going to have to go back. The box that the funeral home gave us at the time was 8.5 long 6.5 wide and 4.5 deep. It was a perfect fit!

Beautiful box. However, the largest did not hold all the ashes from a 200 pound male. In fact, it only held about 75% . It would be good if the boxes were related in some way to the weight of the adult whose remains it is to contain. That's the reason for 4 stars.

The box was nice and all
The box was nice and all. It was not the size I needed. Because it said it was for an adult, I took them at their word. We knew when we saw it that it was too small. My mother gave it to the lady taking care of us and she just smiled and agreed with us. She was nice enough to give Mom an urn that was actually large enough for an adult male. Again, the box was nice. The sizing was incorrect.

The box is damaged at the bottom near the door.
This product came in with a big chip in it by the door. This product came in with a big chip in it. I don't have time before the memorial service on Saturday as it is for my brothers ashes. Other than the disappointment of the chip the box is beautiful. I'm just sad because I wanted to give my brother a perfect send off!

Well made, and as advertised, but when it arrived the packaging & item itself all smelled musty & mouldy, although there were no signs of mould or mildew, or that there had ever been any. 10 days after receiving it, the smell remains. Perhaps stain or gloss finish causing the smell?
