I purchased a new pot and pan set not knowing that the metal handles were hollow. This allows heat to more quickly travel up the handle while cooking potentially burning your hand when you grab the handle. So far these handles haven't gotten even close to being to hot to handle, but better safe than sorry so I purchased these silicone handle holders.If you're looking for a snug fit then these aren't for you, but they easily slip over any pan handle providing a firm safe grip. They are much less awkward and safer than using a cloth pot holder to pick up a pan. A pan handle can slip around in a cloth pot holder and the pot holder can get in the way. These silicone handle holders don't have that problem. Plus, they are plenty big to fit over any pan handle and the silicone is thick enough so you don't feel like they are going to tear or stretch at a critical moment. When cooking meat and I want to get rid of the fat I use a regular pot holder to hold the lid on, but I use this handle holder for the handle because of it's much better and less clumsy grip. I use these pan holders often and am glad I found them.

These don’t insulate from the heat in my cast iron skillet handles. So my handles are still to hot to handle.

I didn't notice the size when I bought it. Actually the size is 6" by 3", which is too small for holding hot baked things.

There very useful, but I did not realize my handle do not get hot. I would only recommend if handles get hot.

Just wish it was open ended on both sides so I could keep them on pot or pan to hang from our rack. Otherwise great product.

It fits different pot handles nicely. It still gets pretty hot.
