The overall quality of this dash cam is very similar with my parent's one which worths about $100. Unfortunately, that is only that case for the first few weeks. After the review is adjusted, the customer service team provided detailed support for my experience of using the cam. Therefore, I adjusted the overall rating again.Basically, what you paid is what you get.However, after my car was hit and run by someone else ( I have to pay 100% for fixing it afterwards as I have no dash cams on my car and which the driver and the license plate of his/her car was not recorded), I have no choice but buying a dash cam for protecting myself. After a bit searching, I bought this one and gave it a try. The installation process is not extremely simple but still doable. The recoding quality is fine. I can read some recorded cars' license plate numbers when I watched the recoding on my laptop.

I bought this to replace a cheapo knock off that I got as a gift. Comparatively, this camera is a lot sturdier and holds some weight to it. I love the wide angle and the audio recording is a lot more acceptable than the other dash cam I was using, and the video quality is great. Nightvision is acceptable; a lot more than I can say for the knock off version. Overall, this little camera was a lot more than what I was expecting it to be. For the price, I'd say I got more than my money's worth. Great product. 👍

The media could not be loaded.  Now I normally don't type out reviews for anything whether it was good or not, but I am taking my time out to put a review on this dash cam because it is awesome. This is my second dash cam I own (first one was an apeman) and it is way better than the first. Before I considered buying this cam I check out so many other dash cams to see what everyone has to say even if it had one bad thing I didn't like it was a no go for me.The package on this one was nicely put. It doesn't come with a plug in for a computer. I would most definitely recommend this dash cam if you're in the market or purchasing one. The video on the cam doesn't look as clear as it does on computer.

The camera flies off into the car multiple times while driving because of the loose dash mount. This is more likely to cause an accident than simply not having it installed at all. It's hard and heavy and has almost hit me in the face twice, I'm past the return date but give up on using it.

Worked great for first couple months. Then I suppose the cord that came with it could be wrong design with this camera, if you mounted with suction upward on windshield. The cord has straight wire connection to camera and with the turning of going from upward to go back down could have interfered with the life of the charging connection of the camera.. it had started to act a bit funny with charging.. I initially thought it was the cord with the little flex area between the plug and the cord on the charging cable. I replaced with a 90 degree connection to camera to take strain off the camera.. but it wasn’t the cord.. the usb mini connection on camera was loosing contact with in unit. It would charge but be on/off from road vibrations. Then soon the unit wouldn’t charge at all.. even trying to adjust cord and carefully placeD to keep charging continuing.. With vehicle not moving and will be parked for charging time.. I still couldn’t get it to charge, even for a split second. Usually I have the batteries fail and just keep on cord to cig lighter in car. But this one didn’t make it very far.Other than that was good and nice video detail and recording playback was smooth

This dashcam does everything that I asked for. To begin with, setup was very easy. All I had to do was pick the properties that I wanted and insert a micro SD card and that is it. Working as I want it to. Just stick it to the windshield. It holds very well. The camera also sits nicely behind my rear view mirror and is not a bother that all. The video quality is perfect 1080p. The nighttime video picks up everything perfectly as well. It is a great investment for such a low cost. Last but not least....they provide a solid length wire, which is plenty to wrap around the car and hide from plain site.

I bought 3 at one time. It was a risk. I had to return one of them...defective. Return was simple. I pulled out the micro sd card to check the recording. The video quality is basic, hard to read a license plate unless within 30 ft of other car. Operates best when your car shuts off power to your cig lighter when car is off. But 2 of my vehicles have power always on, so the device continuously records. I don't like that. Doesn't drain my battery significantly. We'll see what happens. We will try to remember to turn the cameras on and off for every trip!

The media could not be loaded.  Recently purchased this dashcam for my son's car. Very easy to install such as plug-play. Hardest part is where to hide the wire. The picture is sharp and clear. No shaking at all when driving. Instruction is easy to follow and marking on device is easy to find and adjust such as screen saver as the screen went black when my son drove his car.UpdateI just add another video for this review. The camera was facing the sun so it looks darker than normal. My son still said he loves it. Thumb up for me. 👍
