LEKEYE Drain Hair Catcher Stainless Steel Drain Protector/Strainer Easy Clean Hair Trap For Shower Drain

I have tried the "Tub Shroom" and although it did work, it quickly lost its shape and didn't sit tight. The Lekeyf drain hair catcher caught more hair and retained its shape. And it has a tighter fit with options.

I had used the rubber one for years and did not like it turning black with mold, so recently switched it to the stainless one(TubShroom), which looks good, but was just ok. I doubted whether this would function well as I am not familiar with the brand. However, after using it for a week or so, I am quite satisfied. It is even better than the popular one. I will buy this again for sure.

Stainless steel is really thick material and I hoe it will be pretty easy to clean and also last much longer than plastic one.Edit: After using it for few months, I have to say it’s undoubtedly the best in the league in my opinion.New Edit: It’s been one year and still looks like new. Absolutely no rust/stain. Cleaning it is still effortless.

Highly recommend this product. This product went on lightning sale so I decided to choose it over another metal model that is closer to the tubshroom in that the top is a full circle while this product has a fan-like shape. Although I never tried the other model, I have no regrets because the design on top makes it easy to grip it and pull it out of the drain to clean. Also, the curved top means that it doesn't hurt if you step on it. The design also looks decorative so I like it.It comes in a small box with two black rubber attachments. It's super easy to pop the rubber attachments onto the bottom of the drain cover and the larger one makes the drain cover fit snugly in my tub drain. It's very secure too. It may feel like the rubber part is sliding up the drain cover as you slide it into your drain, but it has a tight fit that ensures that all water is flowing through the center and not the sides.Cleaning is very easy. The hair collects on the outside and you can just pull or slide it off. Soap scum collects on the inside cylinder and that's easy to wash off. You can just wipe it off with a finger or blast some water down the center. This is also definitely metal which, from what I've read, is much better than the plastic versions because it won't discolor or get moldy.I don't notice a slower drain when I'm showering, it flows right down, but if you're draining an entire bathtub of water, it is slower. It's not extremely slow, but it is slower.As the title of my review says, if you don't know what color to get, choose black. I chose black and it's very close to the generic drain metal color so it looks like it's a part of my tub and not a foreign object. I would consider black to be a safe choice if you don't know what to get.In my opinion, this drain cover is a must-have. I was using a cheap rubbery cover that would go over my tub and sometimes catch hair but I'd have to clean the drain with a snake to get what would go down. The rubber ones also discolor if your water is hard. With this, it catches everything and it's easy to remove and replace so I can clean it after every shower without it being a long process.

This was a pretty straightforward purchase. My tubs previous hair trap was wearing down and this one seemed like it had good reviews. I am overall happy with the purchase as it was simple to install and it has 3 size attachments for your tub. Mine used the biggest one but it fit just fine. Works great at catching hair and so on but I did see that it takes my shower a little longer to drain than with my previous one. Perhaps because the 3 size attachments mainly are for fitting purposes and only have small holes but the water drains from the sides where the hair gets caught as well. Minor inconvenience but worth mentioning. Would buy again for my drain needs. Plus it's metal (minus the 3 size attachments) so it feels sturdier.

The weight of this is told me this product is not plastic. I was disappointed to find out other similar products was actually plastic. This one was not. It is study and looks better. This will seem to last a long time.

Blends in with existing chrome drain, looks nice, doesn't stand out.Seems durable. Haven't had it long, if it lasts longer than the plastic/silicone alternatives it'll be worth every penny.It was nice that it comes with 3 sizes of ring/gaskets. I wonder if I'll ever have to replace one.I'll update the review next year when it's beat out the prior product it replaced.

This little device is Brilliant. It is very easy to fit, remove and clean. I have long hair and this gadget helps me keep the drain free from hair.Brilliant.

Works really well in our shower, catches all hair . Very easy to clean & no blocked drains.

Just place it in the plug hole and it just sits there, catches all the hair, as it has 2 rubber orings with drain holes to let the water drain out. Defo works 👍

Really works well and is a solid piece of kit. Wish I had got this earlier! Tight fit so not easy to remove but that's why it works so well.
