Our home was built in 1842 and the floors have been beaten up by many shoes, boots, and furniture. This was even a post office for a while in 1864. Lots of scars and dings - and ground-in dirt in the disintegrated carpet pads. We’ve chosen not to have the floors refinished. This cleaner removed buckets of grime, was easy to use, left no residue, and made the floors ready for Weiman’s hardwood polish. I’m happily surprised how good the floors look now. I reordered this product several times to complete the cleaning and I’m quite pleased with the results.

My daughter recently moved into a new home with hardwood floors that needed a little attention. I ordered the product, used it that morning, and we were all amazed at the beautiful lustre and shine that was restored.Highly recommend!

I typically use another oil soap product for my floors that does a great job. I got this because it was safe for pets so i wanted to give it a try. It does clean the floors and they do look good. It may be that this product is intended for a spray mop because it says to put it on the floor and and then mop. So i have been carrying around the jug, pouring some on the floor and then mopping with a damp mop. Maybe i could just mix it in with the water before i mop, but it didn't seem like that was recommended only putting directly on floor. I have not bothered trying as i just need to get it done when mopping as i have 2 cats that like to 'help'.
