I ordered these to use as part of birthday treats for my third grader as there were a number of allergies in her class so finding something all her classmates could enjoy was tricky. Homemade treats were also not allowed due to Covid restrictions so this fit the need. They were a hit and according to my daughter the kids were thrilled! I didn’t get to eat any but it sounded like they tasted good. The only drawbacks I noticed was at least one of the elastic strings was too short to go over my son’s head, and my daughter mentioned a few of the necklaces broke at school. I don’t know how many broke and how many were too short, if it was a consistent issue with the batch or just a couple of them so didn’t drop any stars for that. I would order them again!

These little treats are probably awful from a nutritionist's or mommy viewpoint. But, a the value to a small child is inestimable, causing rapid shouting, bouncing, begging, and inter-sibling struggles. There is no safe way to distribute these treats, small children being capable of overpowering even the strongest fathers. While I recommend caution during distribution, afterwards, the sugar shock will guarantee quiet, compliance, narcolepsy and endless pleasure.

They are just what I remember from childhood! The taste is the way I remember and the string does easily stretch and fit around an adults neck like a choker if you wanted to actually wear it. For the reviewers who felt the taste wasn’t what they remember keep in mind tastebuds can change as we age, Things you thought were delicious years ago no longer appeal and things that were off putting are now a tasty treat.

I wish they tasted like smarties, but they are fine. They have a very mild taste. The elastic strings held up to being stretched and gnawed on.

Bought these for Easter egg hunt and the kids loved them! Great product and they fast great too! The older teenage kids loved them also!

Boss mentioned wanting some of these and not being able to find em locally. I said, "dude, give me 30 seconds on amazon." Done.Exactly what you think they are. Chalky sugar on a string. Or is it sugary chalk? Either way, takes you right back to the late 80s.
