Bahrain Mini Visitors' Guide

I was not happy with this guidebook at all. In the end I decided to get the old fashioned Lonely Planet Bahrain. What I did not like about it was that:- It lacks essential practical information on the current political situation- It reads more like a brochure selling the country and or capital than an objective on when need be critical guidebook- Again the tone is only one of admiration. I am sure we will enjoy our stay there, but I was looking for a broader perspective on the country as a guidebook should- It also seems to be aimed at the more wealthy world citizens. For a backpacker or middle income person this is not really useful.- Design of the Kindle version should have been worked on more. It comes across as something done in a rush.

smaller then expected. About palm size. the information is good. the map in the back is very small and very general DON'T use as means to travel by.

Is there any chance of new edition of this excellent Book? Sadly, this Book is so out of Date now.... 5 years is a long time, so many Hotels have been Built, Shopping Malls have been built and so many Fabulous Restaurants and Coffee shops have opened. Plus the amazing Restoration project being under taken in Muharraq of old Houses....Bahrain deserves a new book !!!!!Look forward to hearing from you...

lohnenswertes Büchlein für einen ersten Einstieg mit gutem Überblick und wertvollen Informationen. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Reiseführern über Bahrain auch recht umfangreich. Lohnt zu kaufen, wenn man vorhat, sich die Perleninsel im Golf anzuschauen.

Fast der einzige Reiseführer für dieses Land. Er enthält eine Auflistung von Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants usw eher in dem Stil einer üblicherweise kostenlosen Hochglanzbroschüre der Tourrist Information. Nützlich ist vor allem die Karte.

Der Mini-Visitor`s Guide passt tatsächlich in jede Tasche. Der Stadtplan ist brauchbar. Derzeit gibt es meines Wissens keinen aktuelleren Reiseführer, allerdings ist der Informationsgehalt relativ gering.
